Recipe:Indo-Chinese Chilli Garlic Chicken

Take a look at the recipe of this Indo-Chinese recipe of chilli garlic chicken and give it a try.

Serves: 3 Preparation time: 20 minutes Cooking time: 30 minutes

All you need
- Chicken
- 500 gms Lemon juice
- 1tbsp Black pepper
- 2tsp (crushed) Chili flakes
- 1tsp Chili garlic paste
- 1tbsp Cornflour
- 2tbsp Egg white
- 1 Garlic
- 3tbsp (minced) Ginger
- 1tsp (minced) Onion
- 1/2 cup (chopped) Salt
- as per taste Soya sauce
- 2 tbsp Tomato sauce
- 1/3 cup Oil
- 1tbsp Sugar
- 1tbsp Oil
- for deep frying

Procedure
1. Wash the chicken pieces thoroughly with water.
2. Marinate the chicken pieces with lemon juice, crushed black pepper, egg white, one tablespoon of cornflour and salt. Keep it aside for 20 minutes.
3. After that deep fry the chicken pieces in oil till they turn golden brown in colour.
4. Heat one tablespoon of oil in a pan and add the minced ginger and garlic. Fry for a minute. 5. Then add the onions and saute for 3-4 minutes.
 6. After that, add the chilli garlic paste, chilli flakes, soya sauce, tomato sauce, sugar, a cup of water and allow the mixture to boil.
7. Now, add salt and the fried chicken pieces. Mix well. 8. Mix one tablespoon of cornflour with water and add it to the pan. Mix well.
9. Once done, switch off the flame and serve.
The Indo-Chinese recipe of garlic chilli chicken is ready to be served. It goes well with fried rice or noodles.

Nutritional Value
 This recipe is definitely not for dieters. It contains a good amount of calories and saturated fats. It is high on sodium and dietary fibres as well.
